Lisa Justiss
Famous Stylist / Co-owner
Hola! My name is Lisa Justiss, and I am the Famous Stylist/Co-owner of DV8 The Salon. We purchased our DV8 in June 2007. It was named by the former owner, and we decided to keep the name because it proclaims exactly what we did…deviate from the norm!
I attended Ogle School of Hair in 1991 and continued on with an apprenticeship for Shelton’s, both of Arlington. I have had so many great opportunities to further my education. It really started with the great European talent that Shelton hosted for in-salon training. I have enjoyed many hours of cutting and advanced color techniques over the years with Aveda. I have also participated in Aveda’s Business College to help nurture and grow my business creativity.
I spent the first 10 years in Arlington learning and growing my craft and cultivating many client relationships that I still enjoy to this day. I have worked in the Southlake/Grapevine area since 2001. I now consider my clientele to be some of my greatest fans and friends.
I love what I have been blessed to do as a stylist, co-worker, and a boss! It is so fun to see and experience doing hair through the fresh eyes of this next generation. I truly am inspired by the talent and work of our team.
It is a privilege and serious pleasure to share what I have learned, and I hope to inspire a work/life balance.
When I am not DV8ing, I love to travel and spend time playing outside. I play a little tennis (I love the rush of competition), and I love finding the next great tune or pulling out the one song I had forgotten about and giving it a listen. I have been collecting music since the 8-track days! I love a great meal, a stroll on the beach and a glass of champagne at sunset. Oh, and I really adore my dogs Oz and Hank Williams.
