Guest Happiness Team Coordinator

Hey there! I’m Christine Clutterbuck, Salon Support for DV8.

My journey in this industry started when I first came to this salon in 2013 needing some serious TLC for my hair. I fell in love with the salon and its people immediately. It was in the summer of 2015 that I had my first opportunity to become a part-time receptionist. My love for the salon grew even deeper after this. I was a receptionist for about a year until I had to leave to focus on finishing school, but it certainly did not keep me away for long!

When I graduated from high school in 2013, I took the less-traveled route and went to a local community college, Tarrant County College first. I received my Associate of Arts with honors which then took me to my dream school, Texas Christian University in Fort Worth (go Frogs!) where I double-majored in Entrepreneurship and Finance, while minoring in Accounting.

While at TCU, I joined my sorority Pi Beta Phi, where I learned and developed skills in servant leadership, when I served as the VP of Administration and President. Additionally, I served as the President for the Entrepreneurship Club on campus, where I got to really immerse myself in the small business and start-up community. My heart has always lied with entrepreneurial-spirited communities. You find the most spirited, creative, and unique people within it.

When I graduated from TCU in December of 2017, I didn’t have anything lined-up. I ended up finding myself in Canada and working in the film industry, but realized that the lifestyle was not for me. So, I came back home and while I was job searching, DV8 opened its arms again and had me come onboard part-time. Little did I know that during those few months my dream career was sitting right in front of me! Receiving the opportunity to work with this crew full-time was a no-brainer. Life is something special to me, and so are the people in it. I love to do my part in encouraging, loving, and bettering those around me, and that’s what I now get to do every day at DV8.

My favorite quote is by Gandhi: “Where there is love, there is life”. It is my aspiration in life to bring love everywhere I go and make life brilliantly colorful.

When not DV8ing, you’ll find me spending lots of time with family and friends. I love meeting new people, trying out new adventures, and making the most of every moment! I’m a pool rat during the summer, and a movie buff during the winter. But I really just love to have fun and smile during any chance I can get.

I really can’t wait to meet you and hope you find this place to be just as special as I do!
